Allows the user to view and change the properties associated with the selected channel. Channel properties contains the channel name, its location, updating interval and the maximum number of articles allowed in the channel.

On clicking the channel properties button, a Property dialog box appears as displayed:

"General" tab shows the name and the source URL location of the channel.

"Updating" tab has two sections:

   -  Auto Purge: Sets the maximum number of articles that can be associated with the channel.

   -  Auto purge frequency: Sets the time interval to automatically update the channel content.

Save the changes and close the dialog box.
